Service Mechanic - Full Time
(Needed in our Brookfield, WI Corporate Office)
Anderson Pump & Process, a Wisconsin based industrial process pump and hose distributor, has a unique position awaiting the right individual at our Brookfield, WI location. We have an immediate opening in our service department as a full-time service mechanic.
As a Service Mechanic you would:
- Troubleshoot fluid handling equipment and process systems
- Receive repairs, determine cause of failure, list repair components, and input job notes into a repair log
- Upon repair approval, pull parts from stock, implement repair, and test for effectiveness of repair
- Perform on-site pump and system repairs including installation and start-up
- Occasional daily travel utilizng a company vehicle to perform repairs and installations
- Light computer use to research parts, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and to look up customers.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Service Mechanic Experience (Pump repair experience a plus)
- Onsite repair/installation experience
- Outstanding mechanical aptitude
Requirements of Employment:
- Valid drivers license

Industrial Pump Sales Engineer
(Regional Positions in: All of WI, Upper IL, Upper Peninsula MI, and Upper IN)
Sales Progressive, full-service industrial pump and process company has an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sale and application of industrial rotating equipment.
Job Purpose:
- Serves customers by identifying their needs
- Engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services
Duties:
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers
- Planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment
- Engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, use of materials or services
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff
- Costing engineering changes
- Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering and application trends
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
- Maintain full knowledge of Anderson Pump and Process's products and services
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
