Shipping and Warehouse Associate
(Needed in our Elmhurst Illinois Office)
Anderson Pump & Process, a leading industrial pump and hose distribution company for over 50 years with branch offices in both Brookfield, WI and Elmhurst, IL, is seeking a full-time, experienced, and energetic individual to work as a Shipping and Warehouse Associate. As a Shipping and Warehouse Associate, you’ll spend roughly 20-30% of your time delivering shipments to customers or running transfer items to our WI branch using our company truck. The remaining time will be spend assisting in order filling, stocking and cycle counting. Experience with driving a forklift, using UPS WorldShip, and Activant Prophet21 software a plus. Please note that some heavy lifting is required, so you must have the ability to lift/move heavy objects and stay on your feet for extended periods of time. This position is first shift with rotating work times from 8-4:30pm, with overtime possibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Use of the company truck for deliveries as required (YOU DON'T PAY FOR GAS)
- Locate parts/fulfill parts orders
- Receive shipments, enter them into inventory
- Help load and unload trucks using a fork lift
- Conduct daily inventory cycle counts as directed
- Utilize various shipping systems to accurately price and ship items
- Other warehouse-related duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- Valid IL drivers license
- Clean driving record
- Drug Screen
- Physical Assessment

Service Mechanic - Full Time
Anderson Pump & Process, a Wisconsin based industrial process pump and hose distributor, has a unique position awaiting the right individual at our Elmhurst, IL location. Our business is growing at our branch located at 650 West Grand Ave, STE 312, Elmhurst, IL 60126 and they have an immediate opening in our service department as a full-time service mechanic.
As a Service Mechanic you would:
- Troubleshoot fluid handling equipment and process systems
- Receive repairs, determine cause of failure, list repair components, and input job notes into a repair log
- Upon repair approval, pull parts from stock, implement repair, and test for effectiveness of repair
- Perform on-site pump and system repairs including installation and start-up
- Occasional daily travel utilizing a company vehicle to perform repairs and installations
- Assist walk in or phone in customers on repair questions
- Light computer use to research parts, diagrams, schematics, manuals, and to look up customers.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of pump repair experience
- Onsite repair/installation experience (Required)
- Outstanding mechanical aptitude
- Proven track record of successful troubleshooting abilities
Requirements of Employment:

Industrial Pump Sales Engineer
(Regional Positions in: All of WI, Upper IL, Upper Peninsula MI, and Upper IN)
Sales Progressive, full-service industrial pump and process company has an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sale and application of industrial rotating equipment.
Job Purpose:
- Serves customers by identifying their needs
- Engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services
Duties:
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers
- Planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment
- Engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, use of materials or services
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff
- Costing engineering changes
- Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering and application trends
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
- Maintain full knowledge of Anderson Pump and Process's products and services
