Industrial Pump Sales Engineer:
(Regional Positions in: All of WI, Upper IL, Upper Penisula MI, and Upper IN)
Sales Progressive, full-service industrial pump and process company has an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sale and application of industrial rotating equipment.
Job Purpose:
- Serves customers by identifying their needs
- Engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services
- Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
- Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests
- Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers
- Planning and organizing sales call schedule
- Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment
- Engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, use of materials or services
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff
- Costing engineering changes
- Develops customer's staff by providing technical information and training
- Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information, engineering and application trends
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
- Maintains full knowledge of Pumping Solutions products and services
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Warehouse - Service Mechanic
(Position in: Elmhurst, IL)
Anderson Pump and Process, a Wisconsin based process pump distributor, has a unique position awaiting the right individual at our Elmhurst, IL location.
Our business is growing, and we have the need to add a part time warehouse person, as well as a part time service mechanic to compliment our full time people in those positions. We are looking for an individual who can fill both, as a full time position.
In the Warehouse person role:
- Receive product from suppliers, placing them into inventory or shipping them out on designated orders
- Load and unload trucks with fork lift
- Process orders, package up parts, pumps, or pumping systems to be shipped by truck or UPS, updating inventory and file support documentation
- Maintain cycle counts of inventory
- Assist walk in customers on their pick orders
In the Service Mechanic role:
- Receive repairs, determine failure mode, list repair components, input job into repair log, and create repair quotation
- Upon repair approval, pull parts from stock, implement repair, test for effectiveness of repair, and arrange return of product to customer
- Assist walk in or phone in customers on repair questions
